Is water-soluble CBD more effective than CBD Oils?
Our Hydractive drops are composed of micelles of actives (CBD, turmeric extract…). A micelle is a microscopic sphere that can “encapsulate” compounds. Due to its micelle technology, the Hydractives are better absorbed by the body. Note that the bioavailability (absorption) of a regular CBD oil is between 15 to 20%, whereas it can reach nearly 100% for our Hydractives.
How is your water-soluble CBD used?
Our Hydractive drops have to be added to a liquid before consuming (water, juice..). It is recommended to use a cold or room temperature liquid, please avoid hot drinks to avoid heat degradation of the CBD.
Does water-soluble CBD bypass the liver?
The Swiss patented technology in our Hydractive drops creates micelle structures (an encapsulation process naturally used by our body to absorb fat-soluble substances). Fat-soluble substances can be absorbed by the body increasing the bioavailability of the active ingredients. The encapsulated ingredients are protected against degradation by the stomach acids and faster absorption also ensure the by-passing of the liver. The bioavailability is the absorption of a compound to the bloodstream.
